Andrew is correct! I used to work in the media. These journalists are completely inept. They believe they are doing something cool that will make them famous, while in fact they are just useful idiots to the self-appointed "elites."
People in the media believe that lying is appropriate in order to show what they believe to be true! It is a type of death punishment in which there is no undo button. They truly believe that a little assistance in making their stories stereotypical won't damage anyone. These are ill people who are incapable of handling their power!
Most journalists wish to win accolades that they can display as proof that they are better than others.
Most journalists who travel to combat zones do it for recognition, not to expose the truth. They find it cool. That is why they write books or give interviews on their experiences in war zones. They never mention the folks who lived in war zones! Never! Narcissism!
